Structured Cabling Engineer - Summary
- Lead and manage structured cabling projects from planning through implementation.
- Oversee large-scale decommissioning and technology refresh initiatives within data centers and corporate environments.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure project objectives are met efficiently and effectively.
- Support the installation and maintenance of technology infrastructure, including cabling, desktops, and related systems.
- Serve as a technical liaison, translating complex engineering concepts for non-technical stakeholders.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Coordinate and oversee the successful execution of structured cabling projects, ensuring all phases—from decommissioning to implementation—are completed according to technical and project management standards.
- Provide technical expertise and hands-on support for the installation, maintenance, and upgrade of network cabling infrastructure.
- Manage and support the incorporation of new technologies into existing systems, ensuring seamless integration and minimal disruption to daily operations.
- Effectively communicate project status, challenges, and technical information to both technical and non-technical team members and stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with corporate policies, industry standards, and safety regulations throughout all project phases.
- Maintain accurate documentation and records related to project timelines, deliverables, and maintenance schedules.

Qualifications & Requirements
- Proven experience managing large data center or corporate structured cabling projects, including decommissioning and technology refreshes.
- Strong technical background in structured cabling, with practical engineering and project management exposure.
- Ability to clearly explain technical details to individuals at all levels of technical proficiency.
- Direct, hands-on experience building or maintaining cabling infrastructure in fast-paced, corporate environments.
- Ability to work on-site as needed to support project demands and ensure operational excellence.
