SQL Developer (T-SQL, SSIS, SSAS, Power BI) - Summary

Duties & Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain SQL Server database schemas, tables, and views.
- Create complex queries, stored procedures, and indexed views to support application performance.
- Develop and optimize SSIS packages for high-performance data cleansing and integration tasks.
- Build and maintain SSRS and Power BI reports to deliver actionable business insights.
- Develop and manage SSAS cubes, including tabular and multidimensional models.
- Collaborate with team members to review and enhance existing code, ensuring efficiency and scalability.
- Apply advanced T-SQL language features and performance tuning techniques to large datasets.
- Support production environments, including troubleshooting and resolving complex issues.
- Mentor and lead junior developers, facilitating knowledge sharing and skill development.
- Implement and enforce version control practices using tools like Git.
- Work on the development and integration of web services and application programming interfaces (APIs).
- Contribute to documentation, unit testing, and adherence to release and change management protocols.

Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent professional experience.
- Minimum of 5 years’ hands-on experience in SQL Server database development and data integration.
- Strong expertise in T-SQL, SSIS, SSAS, and Power BI.
- Demonstrated experience with high-performance SSIS package development for data cleansing and integration.
- Advanced skills in troubleshooting, performance tuning, and dynamic SQL.
- Proficiency in application programming with .NET technologies (C#, ASP.NET, MVC), JavaScript, JSON, JQuery.
- In-depth understanding of XML, web services, and data transformation processes.
- Familiarity with version control tools such as Git.
- Experience supporting large-scale, production database environments, including 24x7 support.
- Ability to handle PHI data and implement complex indexing strategies such as column store indexing.
- Experience with SSAS tabular cubes, SSIS parallelism, Power BI Service, SharePoint, Tableau, Azure Synapse, Transact-SQL, TOAD, and Snowflake schemas.
- Proven ability to mentor or lead other development staff and work collaboratively within a team.
- Excellent communication skills, with the capability to articulate technical concepts clearly.
- Permanent US work authorization is required.
