Speech Language Pathologist SLP-CCC - Summary
- Serve as a clinical expert in the assessment and treatment of speech, language, and communication disorders.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals, educators, and families to support client progress and well-being.

- Maintain accurate, timely documentation and adhere to ethical and legal standards in all clinical activities.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations to diagnose speech, language, voice, fluency, and swallowing disorders.
- Develop and implement customized treatment plans tailored to each client’s unique needs and goals.
- Provide direct therapeutic interventions to individuals and small groups.
- Educate clients, families, and caregivers on strategies to support communication development at home and in the community.
- Document assessment findings, treatment progress, and outcomes in compliance with regulatory standards.
- Consult with interdisciplinary team members to coordinate care and maximize therapeutic outcomes.
- Stay current on best practices and new research in the field of speech-language pathology.
- Participate in professional development and continuing education activities.
- Support and mentor Clinical Fellows (CFY) as appropriate.

Qualifications & Requirements
- Master’s degree in Speech Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
- Current Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) from ASHA or eligibility for Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY).
- Valid state licensure or ability to obtain licensure as required.
- Demonstrated knowledge of assessment tools, treatment techniques, and best practices in speech-language pathology.
