Speech Language Pathologists (SLPs) are responsible for evaluating, diagnosing, and treating students with a range of speech, language, and communication disorders. You will have the opportunity to manage a diverse caseload, develop and implement individualized treatment plans, and participate in multi-disciplinary team meetings. Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) - Summary

Duties & Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations for students referred to special education services
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans tailored to each student’s unique needs
- Deliver direct speech and language therapy services through evidence-based intervention strategies
- Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings as an active member of the multidisciplinary team
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and other school staff to support students’ classroom participation and success
- Communicate effectively with families to promote carryover of skills and support student progress at home
- Document all services provided and maintain accurate records in compliance with school and regulatory guidelines
- Monitor student progress regularly and adjust interventions as necessary to maximize outcomes

Qualifications & Requirements
- Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current and active state licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist (SLP)
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) from ASHA preferred
- Previous school-based experience is preferred, but not required for consideration
- Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills
