This full-time opportunity is ideal for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) who is eager to work with diverse populations, including individuals with traumatic brain injuries and neurological disorders. You will utilize advanced clinical tools and techniques such as videofluoroscopy, nasendoscopy, stroboscopy, and computer technology to conduct thorough assessments and deliver innovative treatment interventions.

Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) - Summary
- Deliver comprehensive speech-language pathology services to a diverse patient population, including service members, veterans, and their families.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to provide holistic, patient-centered care.
- Utilize advanced diagnostic and treatment technologies and evidence-based practices.
- Provide education and support to patients and families regarding speech, language, and swallowing disorders.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Develop and implement individualized treatment strategies for speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing disorders.
- Incorporate new clinical procedures and maintain up-to-date knowledge of best practices.
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and provide direct treatment interventions.
- Utilize clinical instrumentation such as videofluoroscopy, nasendoscopy, stroboscopy, and computer technologies for assessments and data collection.
- Offer prevention, screening, consultation, assessment, diagnostic, intervention, management, counseling, and follow-up services.
- Deliver both inpatient and outpatient care, including selection and interpretation of assessment instruments for various disorders.
- Design, implement, and adjust evidence-based treatment plans for complex cases, including patients with neurological disorders and tracheostomies.
- Collaborate with physicians and healthcare providers for flexible and rigid endoscopy procedures, and independently conduct speech and voice evaluations.
- Educate and counsel patients and families on disorders, treatment plans, progress, prognosis, and available resources.
- Prepare clinical documentation for physicians' review and relevant external entities such as disability or veteran affairs agencies.

Qualifications & Requirements
- Master's degree in speech pathology or communication disorders from an accredited program.
- Current, full, active, and unrestricted license to practice as a speech-language pathologist.
- Certification of Clinical Competency in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) from ASHA, maintained in good standing.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
- Minimum of 2 years of acute and/or rehabilitation hospital-based experience within the past 4 years, including work with individuals affected by traumatic brain injury and other neurological disorders.
- U.S. Citizenship required.
