Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) - Summary

Duties & Responsibilities
- Deliver evidence-based therapy for language, articulation, fluency, and voice disorders.
- Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations and generate detailed assessment reports.
- Participate actively in IEP development and ARD meetings, contributing specialized knowledge to student planning.
- Collaborate closely with parents, teachers, and other staff to ensure comprehensive support for students.
- Maintain well-organized and up-to-date documentation in compliance with school and state guidelines.
- Monitor student progress and adjust therapy plans as needed to maximize outcomes.
- Stay informed about current best practices and integrate them into therapy sessions.

Qualifications & Requirements
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders from an accredited program.
- Current Texas Speech Language Pathologist license required.
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred but not required.
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
- Strong interpersonal, organizational, and written communication skills.
