The Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) is responsible for delivering comprehensive assessments, developing evidence-based treatment plans, and delivering high-quality speech and language therapy for students with a variety of communication disorders. Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) - Summary
- Deliver speech and language therapy services to a diverse student population.
- Work as part of a collaborative multidisciplinary team to support IEP development and implementation.
- Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders.

Duties & Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations of students' speech, language, and communication abilities using standardized assessment tools and district protocols.
- Develop and implement individualized, evidence-based therapy plans tailored to the unique needs of each student.
- Provide direct speech and language therapy services in both inclusion classrooms and pull-out settings, adapting approaches as needed for diverse learning profiles.
- Participate actively in IEP meetings, collaborating with special education teams, teachers, and families to establish and review student goals.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of assessment results, therapy sessions, and student progress using district data systems.
- Offer consultative support to classroom teachers and staff, promoting effective communication strategies across school environments.
- Engage in professional development activities to stay current with best practices in the field of speech-language pathology.

Qualifications & Requirements
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
- Current Texas SLP license is required. Clinical Fellows (CFs) are encouraged to apply and will receive supervision as needed.
- Demonstrated experience or strong foundational knowledge in conducting speech and language assessments and delivering therapy services.
- Excellent collaboration and communication skills, with a commitment to working as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Ability to effectively document and track student progress in adherence with district and state requirements.
