Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) - Summary

Duties & Responsibilities
- Provide direct speech-language therapy services to students according to IEP goals and school policies
- Collaborate with teachers, special educators, and school staff to design and implement instructional strategies that address students' speech and language needs
- Participate actively in IEP meetings, team conferences, and interdisciplinary planning
- Maintain precise and timely documentation of assessments, interventions, progress notes, and required reports
- Contribute to classroom management and positive behavior intervention plans
- Engage in ongoing communication with families and caregivers regarding student progress and strategies for support

Qualifications & Requirements
- Master’s degree in Speech Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders (or related field)
- Valid state licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist (SLP)
- Experience working in educational, school-based, or similar settings with children or students
- Strong organizational, collaboration, and communication skills
- Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary educational team
