Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) - Summary

Duties & Responsibilities
- Deliver direct speech and language services to students as outlined in IEPs
- Assess, diagnose, and develop individualized treatment plans for students with communication disorders
- Collaborate with teachers and educational teams to design and implement effective instructional strategies
- Participate in IEP meetings, multidisciplinary team discussions, and parent conferences
- Support classroom management efforts and positive behavior interventions as needed
- Maintain detailed and accurate documentation of student progress and service delivery
- Provide consultative services and professional development to school staff regarding speech and language concerns

Qualifications & Requirements
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders
- Current state licensure/certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)
