Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) - Summary

Duties & Responsibilities
- Conduct speech and language evaluations for students across all grade levels (K-12).
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each student's communication and language needs.
- Deliver therapy in both individual and group formats, ensuring compliance with Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
- Collaborate with teachers and parents to support carryover of therapy strategies into classroom and home settings.
- Maintain detailed and accurate records of student progress in accordance with state and district guidelines.
- Participate in IEP meetings, multidisciplinary team discussions, and other school-based collaborations.
- Provide education and resources to staff and families regarding communication disorders and intervention strategies.
- Stay current with evidence-based practices and regulatory requirements relevant to school-based speech-language pathology.

Qualifications & Requirements
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
- Current and valid SLP license in New Hampshire, or eligibility to obtain licensure.
- NH Department of Education certification, or eligibility to obtain certification.
- Strong collaboration, communication, and organizational skills.
- Experience in school-based settings is preferred, but not required.
