Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) - Summary
- Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders
- Work with children, adolescents, and adults to improve communication skills
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and families
- Deliver evidence-based speech therapy services in a full-time capacity
Duties & Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations of speech, language, voice, and swallowing disorders
- Develop individualized treatment plans based on assessment results and client needs
- Implement therapeutic interventions using current best practices
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of assessment findings, treatment plans, and progress notes
- Communicate regularly with clients, families, caregivers, and other professionals regarding progress and recommendations
- Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings and care planning sessions
- Provide education and training to clients, families, and staff regarding communication and swallowing strategies
- Monitor, evaluate, and adjust treatment plans to maximize client outcomes
- Follow all ethical, legal, and professional standards for speech-language pathology practice
- Maintain continuing education and stay current with advances in the field

Qualifications & Requirements
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
