Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) – Summary
- Provide school-based speech and language services to K-12 students as a Speech Language Pathologist (SLP).
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to address students’ communication needs.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to facilitate students’ academic and social success.
- Ensure compliance with all state and federal regulations related to speech-language pathology services.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations for students referred for assessment.
- Develop, document, and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each student’s unique needs.
- Deliver direct therapy services focused on enhancing speech, language, and fluency skills.
- Monitor progress toward Individualized Education Program (IEP) goals and maintain accurate, timely records.
- Work in partnership with teachers, families, and school administrators to create supportive intervention strategies.
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to collaborative planning for student success.
- Stay current with evidence-based practices in speech-language pathology and integrate these into daily work.
- Maintain compliance with state and district documentation, reporting, and ethical standards.

Qualifications & Requirements
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
- Current or eligible Pennsylvania SLP license and PDE certification required.
