Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) - Summary
- Provide comprehensive assessment and intervention for individuals experiencing speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each patient’s needs and goals.
- Collaborate effectively with patients, families, caregivers, and interdisciplinary professionals.
- Engage in ongoing professional development to stay current with best practices in speech-language pathology.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough evaluations to diagnose speech, language, and communication disorders.
- Design and deliver evidence-based therapeutic interventions for clients across the lifespan.
- Document assessments, progress notes, and care plans accurately and in a timely manner.
- Collaborate with educators, healthcare professionals, and families to support the client’s treatment goals.
- Educate patients, families, and caregivers regarding communication strategies and therapy techniques.
- Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary team discussions as required.
- Monitor and adjust treatment plans based on client progress and feedback.
- Maintain compliance with relevant legal, ethical, and professional standards.

Qualifications & Requirements
- Master’s degree or higher in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
- Current licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) as required by state regulations.
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) from ASHA preferred or eligibility to obtain.
- Experience working with diverse populations and a variety of speech and language disorders.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Knowledge of current best practices in speech-language therapy and assessment.
