Duties & Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments to evaluate student needs and inform intervention strategies
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans and measurable goals tailored to each student
- Provide direct therapy services to students individually or in small group settings, addressing a variety of speech and language challenges
- Collaborate closely with classroom teachers, support staff, and administrative personnel to ensure a coordinated approach to student support
- Monitor student progress, document outcomes, and adjust interventions as necessary to promote continuous growth
- Participate actively in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings, contributing professional insights and recommendations
- Maintain thorough and accurate records in compliance with district, state, and federal guidelines
- Engage in ongoing professional development to stay current with best practices in speech-language pathology

Qualifications & Requirements
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution
- Current and valid Pennsylvania SLP license
- Pennsylvania Department of Education (PDE) school certification required
- Prior experience working in a school-based setting is strongly preferred
- Strong communication, organization, and teamwork skills
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively with students from diverse backgrounds
