Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) - Summary
- Contract assignment for an experienced Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)
- Provide evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment for patients with speech, language, and swallowing disorders
- Work collaboratively with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to optimize patient outcomes
- Support individualized care plans and evidence-based practices
Duties & Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive assessments of speech, language, cognitive-communication, and swallowing abilities
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient needs and evidence-based protocols
- Deliver patient-centered therapy in individual and group settings
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, occupational therapists, and other healthcare professionals
- Document evaluations, treatment progress, and outcomes according to regulatory standards
- Educate patients and families on therapy goals, home exercises, and communication strategies
- Participate in interdisciplinary meetings to review patient progress and adjust care plans
- Maintain compliance with professional, ethical, and organizational standards

Qualifications & Requirements
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current and valid state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred
- Previous professional experience in speech-language pathology or a related healthcare setting
- Strong clinical assessment, diagnostic, and therapeutic skills
