Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) - Summary
- Full-time position providing comprehensive evaluation and treatment for communication and swallowing disorders
- Work with patients of all ages in various care settings, including hospitals, clinics, and pediatric environments

Duties & Responsibilities
- Assess, diagnose, and treat patients with speech, language, cognitive-communication, and swallowing disorders
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations using standardized assessment tools
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient needs
- Provide therapy sessions targeting articulation, comprehension, expression, voice, fluency, and pragmatic language skills
- Monitor patient progress, adjust treatment plans as needed, and document outcomes
- Educate patients and families on effective communication and swallowing strategies
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, occupational and physical therapists, and other healthcare professionals
- Maintain accurate, timely, and detailed clinical documentation and patient records
- Participate in team meetings, case conferences, and ongoing professional development activities

Qualifications & Requirements
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) in Florida
- Experience in acute care settings preferred
