The Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) is a vital part of educational teams, providing expert care and support for students with communication disorders. We are seeking dedicated Speech-Language Pathologists (SLP), including recent graduates and experienced professionals, for full-time opportunities in school-based settings. This role offers the chance to positively impact students' lives by identifying and addressing a range of speech and language challenges, such as language disorders, speech sound disorders, and autism spectrum disorders. As an SLP, you will work collaboratively within elementary school environments, developing and implementing Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) and making a meaningful difference in the educational journey of each student.
As a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP), you will serve students across multiple elementary schools, ensuring comprehensive assessment and intervention for communicative disorders. The position welcomes candidates with the Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC) as well as Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) applicants, as supervision and mentorship may be available. Your expertise will support students' academic and social growth while fostering an inclusive and supportive educational environment.

Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) - Summary

Duties & Responsibilities
- Screen students to identify communicative disorders and determine appropriate interventions
- Conduct thorough, standardized assessments and diagnostic evaluations for speech and language deficits
- Maintain accurate, detailed documentation in alignment with school and regulatory standards
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) tailored to each student’s unique needs
- Provide direct speech-language therapy to students, monitoring progress and adjusting strategies as needed
- Assess preschool children with communicative disorders and make referrals when necessary
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support student outcomes
- Participate in triennial assessments and review processes
- Utilize web-based IEP programs and maintain compliance with all school system protocols
- Perform all duties as assigned by school administration or special education leadership
Salary & Benefits
- Full-time work schedule, typically 35-40 hours per week

Qualifications & Requirements
- Master’s degree from an accredited program in Speech-Language Pathology
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (SLP-CCC) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA), or eligibility for Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY)
- Current or eligible Speech-Language Pathologist license or Clinical Fellowship credential
- Background in language disorders, speech sound disorders, and autism spectrum disorders
- Experience working with school-aged children preferred
- Familiarity with school systems, IEP processes, and digital IEP tools is advantageous
- Strong knowledge of speech-language therapy principles, practices, and methods
