Special Education Teacher (SPED) - Summary

Duties & Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and manage Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams
- Adapt and deliver differentiated instruction to meet students' unique needs and learning styles
- Monitor, document, and report student progress according to state and district regulations
- Engage in regular communication and partnership with general education teachers, related service providers, and families
- Participate actively in IEP meetings, student evaluations, and compliance activities to ensure legal and educational standards are met

Qualifications & Requirements
- Valid Arizona Special Education teaching certification or eligibility to obtain
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Special Education or a related field
- Experience in a school-based setting preferred, though new graduates are encouraged to apply
- Demonstrated classroom management, organizational, and communication skills
- Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
