Special Education Teacher (SPED) - Summary
As a Special Education Teacher (SPED), you will deliver high-quality, individualized instruction to middle school students in accordance with IEP requirements. Your expertise will guide students with varying abilities toward academic and behavioral success, working closely with general education teachers and school staff to foster an inclusive and positive learning environment. Duties & Responsibilities
- Develop and implement instruction tailored to each student’s IEP goals, ensuring accessibility and progress for all learners.
- Collaborate with general education teachers to integrate inclusive programming and provide necessary accommodations in the classroom.
- Establish and maintain a structured, supportive classroom environment that encourages positive behaviors and academic achievement.
- Collect, monitor, and analyze academic and behavioral data to inform instruction and guide student support strategies.

- Participate in IEP meetings, contribute to the development of educational plans, and adhere to all federal, state, and district guidelines regarding special education services.

Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Special Education or a closely related field from an accredited institution.
- Active Texas Special Education certification required for consideration.
