Special Education Teacher (SPED) - Summary

Duties & Responsibilities

- Assess student progress and adjust instructional strategies accordingly
- Maintain accurate and detailed documentation of student performance and IEP compliance
- Collaborate with general education teachers, administrators, and support staff to promote student inclusion
- Engage with parents and guardians to communicate student progress and foster a collaborative support network

Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Special Education or a related field required
- Valid PA teaching certification in Special Education required
- Previous experience working in a school or educational setting preferred
- Strong understanding of IEP development, differentiated instruction, and best practices in special education
