Solutions Engineering Director - Summary
- Lead and manage the creation and delivery of technical solutions for sophisticated data center projects.

Duties & Responsibilities
- Oversee the full lifecycle of technical solution development, from initial design through to construction and operational deployment for data centers.
- Collaborate closely with engineering teams specializing in mechanical, electrical, and architectural disciplines to ensure cohesive project delivery.
- Develop, review, and present technical proposals, ensuring all responses to Requests for Proposals (RFPs) and Requests for Information (RFIs) meet client expectations and organizational standards.
- Facilitate technical review meetings to identify and mitigate integration risks across different engineering disciplines.
- Guide discussions with a focus on neutrality and consensus-building, always prioritizing the client’s vision and project requirements.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, particularly around liquid cooling, GPU clusters, and high-density infrastructure.
- Support negotiation processes related to leases and Service Level Agreements (SLAs), ensuring mutually beneficial outcomes.

Qualifications & Requirements
- Minimum of 10 years of leadership experience in delivering strategic technical solutions within data center or mission-critical environments.
- Proven track record collaborating with multidisciplinary engineering and design teams.
- In-depth knowledge of data center design, construction, and operational best practices.
- Technical understanding of mechanical, electrical, or architectural engineering disciplines, with hands-on experience in advanced infrastructure technologies such as liquid cooling and GPU clusters.
- Demonstrated success in client-facing technical roles, including comprehensive RFP/RFI processes, technical presentations, and effective negotiation of leases and SLAs.
