This is a remote, project-based position located in Charlotte, NC. As a Software Quality Assurance Tester (QA Tester), you will play a critical role in evaluating user experiences, testing the functionality of web and mobile applications, and providing valuable feedback that helps enhance our digital products. Your efforts will directly contribute to the improvement of platforms used by a wide range of users nationwide.
Responsibilities- Perform comprehensive usability testing scenarios on both mobile and web-based software platforms to ensure optimal user experience and functionality.
- Identify, document, and report bugs, glitches, and user experience issues with accuracy and clarity to support effective resolution by development teams.
- Collaborate effectively with developers and other team members by communicating findings, sharing insights, and providing recommendations to enhance software quality.
- Verify that all software features operate correctly across a variety of devices, browsers, and screen sizes, ensuring compatibility and accessibility for all users.
- Prepare and submit detailed reports on a daily or weekly basis outlining testing results, issues discovered, and actionable recommendations for improvement.
- Exceptional attention to detail and a methodical approach to following structured instructions during testing processes.
- Proficiency with remote work tools and a solid understanding of app and web ecosystems, allowing for effective participation in virtual team environments.
- Previous experience in quality assurance, user testing, or a related field is preferred, though candidates with a strong drive to learn and contribute are encouraged to apply.
