Software QA Tester Job OverviewWe are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Software QA Tester to join our remote quality assurance team on a full-time basis in Charlotte, NC. As a Software QA Tester, you will play a vital role in ensuring the optimal performance and user experience of our digital platforms, including both mobile applications and web-based software. Your primary responsibilities will be focused on rigorous usability testing, identifying bugs or issues, and providing valuable feedback that directly influences product improvements.
Responsibilities- Conduct thorough usability testing scenarios for a variety of mobile and web platforms to ensure seamless user experiences.
- Document and report bugs, glitches, and user experience challenges in a clear and organized manner for the development team.
- Collaborate closely with software developers and other team members to communicate issues and contribute feedback for continuous improvement.
- Verify that all software features function correctly across multiple devices, browsers, and screen sizes, ensuring consistent performance for all users.
- Prepare and submit comprehensive daily or weekly reports detailing findings, recommendations, and actionable insights to facilitate decision-making.
- Exceptional attention to detail and a methodical approach to following structured testing instructions and protocols.
- Proficiency with remote collaboration tools and a strong understanding of mobile and web application ecosystems.
- Previous experience in quality assurance, user testing, or a related field is preferred, though not strictly required.
- Reliable high-speed internet connection and access to a desktop computer, laptop, or mobile device capable of handling software testing requirements.
