Qualifications & Requirements
- Proficiency in Python, BASH, and Linux/Unix development tools.
- Direct experience with bioinformatics applications, including but not limited to Illumina BCL Conversion, GATK, and Sentieon.
- Demonstrated capacity to rapidly learn and apply new scripting languages and technologies.
- Familiarity with workflow management tools such as Nextflow or similar pipeline automation software.
- Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and technical design skills, with a deep understanding of modern system architecture and software development methodologies.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams and articulate technical concepts to diverse audiences.
