Duties & Responsibilities- Design, develop, and deliver end-to-end software solutions for the Arrivia travel platform, ensuring performance, reliability, and security at scale.
- Own the architecture and operational lifecycle of significant features and services, making strategic decisions that balance cost, speed to market, and robustness.
- Work independently and collaboratively within distributed engineering teams to deliver high-quality code and system enhancements.
- Utilize AI-powered coding tools such as Claude Code, Cursor, and GitHub Copilot to accelerate development while maintaining code quality and security standards.
- Mentor and support other engineers by sharing technical expertise and fostering a culture of continuous improvement and learning.
- Implement best practices for observability, failover, and operational excellence to ensure systems remain resilient under real-world load.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to scope requirements, evaluate technical trade-offs, and deliver features that align with business goals.
- Participate in code reviews, technical discussions, and the ongoing modernization of legacy services to uphold high engineering standards.

- 5-8 years of experience developing and shipping production software as a full-stack engineer.
- Proficient in TypeScript/JavaScript, Python, or C#/.NET, with hands-on experience in at least one modern front-end framework.
- Experience working with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to make informed architectural decisions and trade-offs.
- Demonstrated ability to leverage AI-assisted development tools while upholding high standards for code quality and security.
- Excellent communication and mentoring skills, with a commitment to team success and knowledge sharing.
- Thorough understanding of distributed, cloud-native architectures and best practices for building scalable applications.
- Proven track record of owning end-to-end software features and services in a production environment.
- Experience mentoring junior engineers and contributing to the technical growth of a team.
- Comfortable working across US and international time zones in a fully remote capacity.
