Sign Language Interpreter (ASL Interpreter) - Summary- Full-time position supporting students in an educational setting
- Facilitates communication for students who are deaf or hard of hearing
- Collaborates with teachers, staff, and related service providers
- Follows the standard school calendar, Monday through Friday
- Based in Swanzey, New Hampshire, offering a welcoming school community
- Provide accurate and professional sign language interpreting services between students, teachers, staff, and peers
- Facilitate clear communication during classroom instruction, school activities, meetings, and educational events
- Encourage student independence while maintaining professional interpreting standards
- Collaborate with educators and support staff to promote student achievement and accessibility
- Uphold confidentiality and adhere to ethical standards for educational interpreters at all times

- Proficiency in American Sign Language (ASL)
- Experience interpreting in educational or K-12 settings is preferred
- 3.5 EIPA score or better and/or RID certification preferred, or ability to meet relevant state requirements
