Sheet Metal Superintendent - Summary- Leadership role overseeing sheet metal and piping projects of varying scale and complexity
- Direct supervision of work crews to ensure quality, safety, and efficiency
- Full-time employment opportunity in a rapidly growing industry

- Supervise installation, maintenance, and completion of sheet metal and piping systems on projects large and small
- Administer and promote the company's safety program, maintaining a safe and healthy work environment on all job sites
- Demonstrate and instruct proper work methods to foremen and crew members
- Ensure availability of blueprints, materials, tools, and supplies for project completion
- Consult with project managers and upper management to address and resolve worksite issues as they arise
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge on technical procedures, company policies, and industry standards
- Allocate tasks and manage workloads to keep all team members engaged and productive
- Monitor progress and quality of work, verifying that all instructions, deadlines, and methods are rigorously followed
- Lead teams to consistently meet project milestones and deadlines
- Uphold housekeeping and safety standards throughout all phases of construction
- Report regularly to superintendents and project managers regarding project status, accomplishments, and any delays
- Serve as a point of contact for supervisors, addressing operational concerns and providing guidance as needed

- Minimum of 8 years of verifiable experience in the sheet metal trade, with at least 3 years in a supervisory capacity
- Strong knowledge of piping blueprints, specifications, and relevant codes
- Ability to interpret and work from blueprints of other major crafts
- Expertise in all aspects of sheet metal and piping systems installation and maintenance
- Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with teams and clients
- Proven ability to supervise multiple foremen and coordinate large crews
- Demonstrated capability to schedule projects and ensure timely completion
- Proximity to Austin, TX, and surrounding areas preferred for ease of project management
