Sheet Metal Mechanic - Summary
- Responsible for the construction, installation, and repair of sheet metal systems with a focus on HVAC and ductwork applications
- Utilizes expert knowledge of materials, methods, and specialized tools to complete projects efficiently and accurately

Duties & Responsibilities
- Fabricate, assemble, and install sheet metal products and ductwork for HVAC systems using hand and power tools
- Read and interpret installation plans, schematic arrangements, and detailed technical drawings
- Measure, cut, and shape sheet metal according to specifications
- Secure ductwork and related components using appropriate fasteners and supports
- Inspect and test installed systems for proper operation, making adjustments as needed
- Perform maintenance and repairs on existing HVAC duct systems to ensure continued performance
- Adhere to all safety protocols and company policies during every phase of installation and repair
- Collaborate with project managers, supervisors, and team members to ensure project objectives are met

Qualifications & Requirements
- Minimum of two (2) years of experience installing ductwork in HVAC systems
- At least two (2) years of experience in the HVAC profession
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Proficiency with hand and power tools such as tin snips, duct strapping devices, and drill motors
- Ability to read and interpret installation plans and schematic diagrams accurately
