We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Sheet Metal Assembler to join our manufacturing team. The Sheet Metal Assembler plays a critical role in assembling components used in military and aerospace applications. This position requires proficiency in working with sheet metal, insulation materials, and electrical cable assemblies, as well as a deep understanding of technical drawings and manufacturing processes. The Sheet Metal Assembler will work closely with the Manufacturing, Quality, and Engineering departments to ensure that all assemblies meet strict industry standards and customer requirements.
As a Sheet Metal Assembler, you will be responsible for assembling sheet metal components using a variety of tools and techniques, including the installation of rivets, screws, and rivnuts. You will also be tasked with insulating components and assemblies, cutting insulation materials, and wrapping electrical cable assemblies and air conditioning components with plastic spiral wrap. Your ability to interpret manufacturing drawings, blueprints, and specifications will be essential in maintaining the high standards required in military and aerospace manufacturing environments.
The ideal candidate for the Sheet Metal Assembler role will have prior experience working on equipment with military or aerospace applications, as well as a strong familiarity with industry workmanship requirements. You should be comfortable following written manufacturing outlines, policies, and procedures, and possess the ability to support quick turnaround times in a fast-paced production environment. Due to government ITAR regulations, only U.S. citizens or permanent residents (Green Card holders) are eligible for this position.
