SharePoint Engineer (M365 Specialist) - Summary
- Serve as the technical lead for SharePoint and Microsoft 365 (M365) digital workplace solutions.
- Design, develop, and integrate custom business applications and web parts using SPFx, React, Angular, and .NET technologies.
- Modernize legacy workflows and forms, migrating them to advanced Power Platform tools such as Power Apps and Power Automate.
- Collaborate with internal teams to optimize Teams integrations, including the development of custom apps and bots.
- Continuously explore and implement new M365 capabilities, including Microsoft Loop, Planner, and Copilot.
- Support ongoing digital transformation and process automation initiatives within the organization.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Lead custom development and integration projects utilizing SharePoint Online/On-Prem, M365, and Azure services.
- Act as a subject matter expert in solving technical challenges across multiple platforms and APIs.
- Build and deploy custom web parts, business applications, and advanced integrations using SPFx, React, Angular, and .NET (C#, ASP.NET).
- Design and implement Teams apps, bots, and other solutions to enhance the digital workplace experience.
- Modernize and migrate legacy InfoPath forms and Nintex workflows to the Power Platform ecosystem.
- Create and maintain complex PowerShell scripts for automation, migration, and environment management.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business requirements into robust technical solutions.
- Stay current with emerging M365 features, integrating new tools and capabilities as appropriate.

Qualifications & Requirements
- Minimum of 3-5 years of proven hands-on development experience with SharePoint (Online/On-Prem) and the M365 ecosystem.
- Strong programming proficiency in SharePoint Framework (SPFx), C#, ASP.NET, and front-end frameworks such as React and Angular.
- Demonstrated expertise in integrating SharePoint and M365 with Azure, Teams, and third-party APIs.
- Ability to rapidly analyze problems, define technical requirements, and deliver solutions independently.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to partner effectively across departments.
