We are seeking a dedicated Service Technician to join our team in a temporary, full-time capacity. As a Service Technician, you will play a vital role in supporting the service team by performing diagnostics, repairs, and quality control on a variety of equipment. Working as a Service Technician, you will ensure all equipment is maintained to the highest standards and is ready for deployment as needed by the sales and operations teams.
In this Service Technician role, you will assist with the full lifecycle of equipment care—ranging from diagnostics and repairs, to quality control, and ensuring the workspace is clean and safe. Service Technician - Summary

Duties & Responsibilities
- Assist with equipment diagnostics, service, and repairs to ensure operational readiness
- Conduct quality control inspections for both new and demo equipment used by the sales team
- Inspect and verify the quality of equipment that has undergone repairs or servicing
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment at all times
- Perform additional duties as assigned by management to support service operations
- Utilize diagnostic and repair tools, including multimeters, oscilloscopes, DMX testers, and soldering tools

Qualifications & Requirements
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent practical experience
- Minimum of 3 months of experience in live event production or related technical training
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office applications is preferred
- Strong problem-solving skills and technical aptitude
- Experience using diagnostic and repair tools such as multimeters, oscilloscopes, DMX testers, and soldering equipment
- Excellent organizational and time management skills, with attention to detail
- Ability to multitask and work effectively in a team-oriented environment
- Strong communication skills, professional demeanor, and customer service orientation
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends as required
- Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds as part of routine duties
