Service Dispatcher - Summary
- Acts as the communication hub between customers, technicians, and office staff
- Coordinates daily technician schedules and dispatches service calls efficiently
- Ensures customers receive clear and timely updates from first contact to job completion

Duties & Responsibilities
- Schedule and dispatch service calls for plumbing, HVAC, and electrical services
- Monitor and adjust technician routes as service priorities change throughout the day
- Handle emergency and same-day service requests, ensuring prompt attention to urgent needs
- Communicate appointment times, delays, and updates to customers in a professional manner
- Answer inbound calls and assist customers with scheduling and service inquiries
- Make outbound calls to confirm appointments and provide follow-up communication
- Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, work orders, and service notes
- Collaborate closely with technicians, managers, and office staff to ensure smooth operations
- Track technician progress and make real-time schedule adjustments for optimal efficiency
- Utilize dispatch software and company technology to manage workflow and documentation

Qualifications & Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Prior experience in dispatching, scheduling, customer service, or coordination preferred
- Experience in a service industry environment is a plus
- Familiarity with dispatch software (such as ServiceTitan), CRM systems, or scheduling platforms is advantageous
- Strong computer and data entry skills
- Excellent communication and organizational abilities
