IDR is seeking a Service Desk Analyst to join one of our top clients for an opportunity in Auburn, MA. This role provides technical support and assistance mainly to onsite staff, handling IT incidents, requests, and hardware/software provisioning. Its an excellent opportunity to work within a dynamic environment supporting a large in-office team in logistics and administrative functions.
Position Overview for the Service Desk Analyst:
- Acts as the central point of contact for handling internal business partners' technical support issues.
- Responds to IT incidents and requests, providing resolution or escalating as necessary.
- Supports deskside, phone, and walk-in support for hardware and software issues.
- Manages incident reports, hardware provisioning, and troubleshooting across various applications.
- Utilizes ticketing systems such as ServiceNow for incident, request, and asset management.
Requirements for the Service Desk Analyst:
- 1 to 3 years of experience in an IT support role.
- In-depth knowledge of Windows operating systems (Win10, Win11, Windows Services).
- Familiarity with macOS/Linux environments is beneficial.
- Experience with remote desktop tools and support software.
- Strong understanding of networking concepts including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and VPN.
