This position is responsible for preparing detailed and highly accurate technical estimates for a variety of projects, including service contracts, system repairs, equipment upgrades, and complete system replacements. As a key liaison, the Service Advisor – HVAC & Generator ensures clear, concise, and effective communication between field technicians, customers, and internal teams, translating complex technical information into easily understandable proposals and quotations. Service Advisor – HVAC & Generator Summary
- Acts as the primary technical liaison among field technicians, customers, and support teams.
- Prepares detailed proposals and quotations for HVAC, generator, and critical power service work.

Duties & Responsibilities
- Develop comprehensive technical estimates for service contracts, repairs, upgrades, and replacements in HVAC and generator systems.
- Communicate effectively with field service technicians to understand diagnostic results and recommended solutions.
- Prepare and deliver customer proposals and service quotations that are clear, detailed, and tailored to client needs.
- Collaborate with management and corporate leadership to ensure all quoting practices meet company policies and compliance requirements.
- Utilize Microsoft Office and mobile devices for documentation, communication, and proposal generation.
- Monitor and follow up on the status of estimates, proposals, and service jobs to support workflow efficiency.

Qualifications & Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required; technical or trade school education strongly preferred.
- 7-10 years of field service experience, specifically in HVAC and boiler systems, with demonstrated diagnostic and repair expertise.
- Proven experience preparing service, repair, and upgrade estimates or proposals.
- Universal EPA CFC certification preferred; additional credentials such as EGSA, UA Apprenticeship, NATE, or STAR are advantageous.
- OSHA 10 certification required; OSHA 30 certification preferred.
- Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and handheld technology (smartphones, tablets).
