Duties & Responsibilities
- Lead and manage IT projects from inception through completion, ensuring alignment with client objectives and industry standards.
- Design, develop, and implement robust system architectures leveraging advanced technologies for optimal performance and scalability.
- Collaborate with technology vendors to evaluate, procure, and integrate best-in-class solutions.
- Consult with clients to assess IT needs, develop strategic plans, and deploy customized server and network solutions.
- Diagnose and resolve complex technical issues related to server infrastructure, network configurations, and security protocols.
- Create and maintain clear, comprehensive documentation and instructional materials for both internal teams and clients.
- Prioritize and manage multiple tasks effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Participate in the on-call rotation to ensure timely support and continuity of IT services.
- Engage in continuous learning to stay abreast of emerging technologies, industry trends, and evolving security threats.
- Mentor and support junior staff, fostering professional growth and enhancing team performance.

Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in systems design, administration, installation, and troubleshooting.
- Extensive knowledge of Active Directory and Windows Server technologies, including Windows Server, Exchange, RDS, SQL, and IIS.
- Proficiency with cloud technologies such as Azure, Office 365, AWS, and Google Workspace.
- Demonstrated experience in diagnosing, repairing, and installing server and network systems.
- Advanced expertise in virtualization platforms including VMware, Nutanix, SANs, and clustering.
- Comprehensive understanding of networking technologies, including TCP/IP, VLANs, routing, switches, firewalls, DNS, VPN, and VoIP (Cisco, Fortinet, SonicWall).
- Familiarity with security best practices and NIST controls.
- Industry certifications in one or more of the following: Microsoft Servers, Fortinet, Cisco, VMware, Nutanix, Windows Server, Storage Networking.
- Preferred certifications: MCSA Server or MCSE, Cisco, Fortinet, VMware, Nutanix.
