The Senior Structural Engineer PE will be responsible for leading the structural design and analysis of complex modular and prefabricated systems. This role is suited for an accomplished engineer with a proven track record in structural engineering, particularly in the design of modular units and equipment skids for industrial, commercial, datacenter, and energy-sector projects. Senior Structural Engineer PE - Summary
- Lead the design and analysis of modular and prefabricated structural systems across multiple industry sectors.

Duties & Responsibilities
- Act as the lead structural engineer for prefabricated buildings, modular units, and equipment skids in industrial, commercial, datacenter, and energy-related projects.
- Develop and validate structural concepts, ensuring alignment with performance, safety, and constructability requirements.
- Perform advanced structural analysis, including nonlinear, dynamic, and vibration assessments using industry-standard engineering tools.
- Design critical structural elements such as lifting systems, base frames, support structures, platforms, and assemblies rated for transportation.
- Oversee comprehensive load evaluations, including wind, seismic, thermal, vibration, and transportation considerations.
- Ensure strict compliance with all relevant engineering codes and standards.
- Provide technical support and coordination with fabrication and assembly teams throughout the project lifecycle.
- Mentor and guide junior engineers, fostering a culture of professional development and technical excellence.

Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering preferred; significant relevant industry experience considered.
- Active Professional Engineer (PE) license required (Texas and New Mexico preferred).
- Minimum of 15 years of engineering experience, with a strong background in fabrication, welding processes, and quality assurance/quality control (QA/QC) systems.
- Expertise in relevant codes and standards, including AISC, ASME, AWS, TDLR, and local AHJ requirements.
- Demonstrated proficiency in STAAD for structural modeling, calculation interpretation, and report generation.
- Preferred experience with AutoCAD for structural design and detailing.
- Preferred proficiency with 3D modeling software such as Inventor or similar applications.
- Strong interpersonal, organizational, technical, documentation, and communication skills.
