Senior Software Engineer – AI/Agentic Systems SummaryArrivia is seeking a highly skilled Senior Software Engineer – AI/Agentic Systems to join our innovative engineering team. Duties & Responsibilities- Architect and lead the development of scalable, distributed systems across a modern, cloud-native infrastructure.
- Establish technical direction and engineering standards for agentic software development, integrating AI coding agents such as Claude Code, Cursor, and GitHub Copilot into core workflows.
- Drive adoption and standardization of prompt libraries, best practices, and agentic development strategies across engineering teams.
- Design and implement Model Context Protocol (MCP) server ecosystems to provide secure, structured access to internal tools and platform services for AI agents.
- Mentor engineering teams on prompt engineering, reusable patterns, and workflow optimization for AI-assisted development.
- Set the quality bar for AI-generated code, conducting code reviews and ensuring best practices are followed throughout the organization.
- Collaborate closely with product, design, and engineering stakeholders to deliver solutions that prioritize business impact, scalability, and innovation.
- Refactor and modernize legacy services through migration to cloud-native, distributed architectures.
- Utilize and integrate a range of technologies, including TypeScript/JavaScript, Python, C#/.NET, front-end frameworks (React, Next.js, Vue, Angular), cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), RESTful APIs, microservices, streaming platforms (Redis, Kafka, RabbitMQ), Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Research and incorporate advanced AI and agentic development tools, with exposure to Azure AI Foundry, RAG, LangChain, or graph-based data technologies considered a plus.

- 8+ years of professional experience in full-stack software engineering and architecture.
- Expertise in integrating and utilizing AI coding agents within software development workflows.
- Proven experience with TypeScript/JavaScript, Python, or C#/.NET.
- Proficiency in at least one modern front-end framework such as React, Next.js, Vue, or Angular.
- Advanced knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and cloud-native distributed system design.
- Deep understanding of Model Context Protocol (MCP) server ecosystems and architecting secure, scalable solutions for agentic workflows.
- Strong background in RESTful API and microservice development.
- Experience with streaming platforms (Redis, Kafka, RabbitMQ), containerization (Docker), orchestration (Kubernetes), and CI/CD pipelines.
- Familiarity with advanced prompt engineering, reusable libraries, and agentic workflow best practices.
- Experience with Azure AI Foundry, RAG, LangChain, or graph-based data technologies is a plus.
- Demonstrated ability to lead by example, mentor peers, and drive technical standards.
