IDR is seeking a Senior Software Developer (backend) to join one of our top clients for a remote opportunity. This role involves building and optimizing backend services and APIs within a large healthcare organization focused on digital transformation and automation. The position offers a chance to work on mission-critical projects, especially in the healthcare and pharmacy/medical claims space, supporting cutting-edge enterprise applications.
Position Overview for the Senior Software Developer (backend):
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend application components using C# and SQL, emphasizing performance and reliability
- Build and support APIs, services, and data access layers that integrate with enterprise systems and third-party platforms
- Contribute to architecture decisions and automation solutions, ensuring adherence to standards and patterns
- Collaborate in an Agile environment with product owners, developers, and business teams to deliver high-quality solutions
- Support deployment, troubleshooting, and performance tuning within cloud environments, particularly Azure
Requirements for the Senior Software Developer (backend):
- Strong experience developing enterprise applications with C#/.NET and SQL
- Demonstrated ability to design scalable APIs and integration solutions with RESTful APIs
- Advanced SQL skills, including query tuning, stored procedures, and handling large datasets
- Knowledge of DevOps practices and Azure cloud platform deployment and monitoring
- Proven ability to work in an Agile/Scrum environment supporting production applications
