Senior Embedded Software Engineer - Summary
- Design, develop, and optimize embedded software for diverse hardware platforms.
- Lead and participate in cross-functional teams to define software requirements and specifications.
- Troubleshoot and debug complex software and hardware issues to ensure system reliability.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement and technical excellence within the engineering team.
- Mentor and guide junior engineers, supporting their professional development and knowledge growth.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to capture and clarify software requirements and technical specifications.
- Develop, implement, and test embedded software solutions using C/C++ and real-time operating systems (RTOS).
- Integrate software with embedded hardware including microcontrollers and development boards.
- Debug and resolve software and hardware integration issues, ensuring robust and reliable products.
- Conduct and lead code reviews, ensuring adherence to industry best practices and coding standards.
- Document software designs, workflows, and technical processes for ongoing knowledge sharing.
- Support and mentor junior engineers, promoting teamwork and the sharing of technical expertise.

Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
- 5–10 years of experience in embedded software development.
- Strong proficiency in C/C++ programming languages and real-time operating systems (RTOS).
- Hands-on experience with embedded hardware platforms, including microcontrollers and development boards.
- In-depth knowledge of communication protocols such as SPI, I2C, UART, and CAN.
- Familiarity with version control systems, preferably Git.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and keen attention to detail.
- Outstanding communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively within diverse teams.
