IDR is seeking a Senior Dynatrace Engineer to join one of our top clients for an opportunity in Atlanta, GA. This role involves designing, implementing, and managing monitoring solutions for enterprise infrastructure and applications. The organization is dedicated to ensuring system reliability and performance through advanced monitoring techniques.
Position Overview for the Senior Dynatrace Engineer:
- Under limited supervision, coordinates, designs, implements, manages, and maintains monitoring solutions for the organization including server and cloud services monitoring.
- Onboards and configures all applications into the Dynatrace monitoring tool for use.
- Develops dashboards, alerts, and health checks to ensure system health and reliability.
- Monitors service performance and availability, setting alert thresholds to minimize false positives.
- Supports monitoring of Windows/Linux servers, virtual environments, and cloud platforms, proactively resolving issues before they impact production.
Requirements for the Senior Dynatrace Engineer:
- Bachelor's degree in information systems, Computer Science, or equivalent experience.
- 5+ years in systems engineering, infrastructure support, or monitoring roles.
- 5+ years of hands-on experience with Dynatrace or similar APM tools.
- Knowledge of Windows/Linux servers, virtualization (VMware), and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills with effective communication and collaboration across teams.
