The Worker will perform advanced (senior-level) business analysis work related to implementing complex, emerging technology hardware and software projects for the Mainframe Transformation Program.
Duties involve use of multiple methods in gathering, developing, and documenting requirements; ability to reverse engineer the legacy system and document the requirements, and review, assess and develop business processes; Create or update design documentation, Creation and validation of user acceptance testing; and research and special project support provided to users. This role will work under limited to minimal direction, with considerable latitude for the use of initiative and independent judgment.
This position will be responsible for analysis and documentation in the implementation of multiple inter-related projects (including implementation of software applications in Software as a Service (SaaS) or Commercial off the Shelf (COTS), migration of data from the mainframe to the new systems and building a Data Warehouse). Ensures that deliverables and materials are produced and maintained in accordance with established processes and procedures, are of consistent quality, and use accepted business analysis methodologies. May assign and/or supervise the work of others. Works under limited supervision, with considerable latitude for the use of initiative and independent judgment.
Required Skills for the Senior Business Analyst:
Senior Business Analysis & Requirements Management 10+ years leading requirements elicitation, traceability, functional design, technical documentation, UAT support, and business process modeling on complex software development projects.
Stakeholder Facilitation & Communication Excellence Expert in facilitating cross-functional workshops, managing client relationships, and delivering clear technical documentation and presentations using tools such as MS Office, Visio, Axure, and related platforms.
Root Cause Analysis & Solution Design Strong analytical expertise in assessing production support issues, defining system specifications, documenting corrections, and aligning technology solutions with key business drivers and process improvements.
