As a Senior Accountant, you will work directly with a Fortune 500 client to support a critical system transition and integration project, ensuring robust financial controls, accuracy, and compliance throughout the process. This full-time contract role is based in Anchorage, Alaska, and places a strong emphasis on general ledger management, inventory accounting, process improvement, and ERP system integration, particularly involving transitions from Ascend to Vertrax integrated with Oracle.

The Senior Accountant will play a pivotal role in month-end close activities, ensuring inventory accuracy, managing accruals, and reconciling intercompany transactions. This position requires a deep understanding of GL integrity, and is responsible for validating data mapping and facilitating seamless process flows across multiple accounting systems. The company’s accounts payable and receivable functions are outsourced, allowing the Senior Accountant to focus on higher-level financial management and process optimization.
