The Scrum Master (CSM) plays a pivotal role in guiding Agile teams within digital health organizations to achieve high performance and deliver innovative solutions that enhance patient and provider experiences. As a key facilitator of Agile methodologies, the Scrum Master ensures that teams follow Scrum principles, maintain strong communication, and foster a collaborative and productive work environment. Scrum Master (CSM) - Summary
- Drive Agile processes and act as a servant-leader for development teams within a digital health setting.
- Facilitate Agile ceremonies, such as daily stand-ups, sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives.
- Support teams in delivering high-quality digital solutions and products aimed at improving patient care and provider workflows.
- Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to ensure alignment and remove impediments.
- Play an active role in the organization’s agile transformation initiatives.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Lead and facilitate all standard Scrum activities, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
- Maintain and manage Scrum artifacts, such as product backlogs, sprint backlogs, and burn-down charts.
- Encourage team commitment to goals and transparency regarding progress and impediments.
- Work closely with product owners, developers, and stakeholders to ensure requirements are well understood and project objectives are met.
- Coach team members and stakeholders on Agile and Scrum best practices to drive cultural change and continuous improvement.
- Identify and resolve obstacles that may hinder the team’s progress.
- Contribute to ongoing agile transformation, ensuring compliance and adaptability within a regulated industry.
- Support application development and maintenance initiatives as needed.

Qualifications & Requirements
- Several years of proven experience as a Scrum Master, preferably in digital or healthcare-related environments.
- Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or equivalent Scrum certification required.
- Bachelor’s degree or high school diploma with 4+ years of relevant experience.
- Preferred experience and/or certification in SAFe Agile methodologies.
- Experience with application development and support is advantageous.
- Demonstrated ability to drive agile transformation within highly regulated industries.
