School Psychologist (School Psych) - Summary

Duties & Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive psychological, academic, and behavioral assessments for students across all grade levels
- Analyze assessment results to develop evidence-based intervention strategies tailored to students’ unique needs
- Provide direct psychological services, including counseling and crisis intervention, to support students' social and emotional development
- Collaborate with educators, administrators, families, and community mental health professionals to create and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs), 504 Plans, and behavioral intervention plans
- Consult with teachers and school staff to develop effective classroom management and instructional strategies
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to review student progress and adjust interventions as needed
- Support school-wide initiatives aimed at promoting a positive, inclusive, and safe learning environment
- Maintain accurate records in compliance with district, state, and federal regulations

Qualifications & Requirements
- Master’s or Doctoral degree in School Psychology from an accredited institution
- Current New Hampshire certification as a School Psychologist (or eligibility to obtain)
- Strong understanding of psychological assessment tools, intervention techniques, and special education regulations
- Experience working in a school setting is preferred
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
