School Psychologist (PPS) | School Psych - Summary
- Full-time position providing comprehensive psychological services within a diverse and inclusive school district.

Duties & Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough psychoeducational assessments to evaluate students’ academic, cognitive, emotional, and behavioral functioning.
- Prepare clear, timely, and legally compliant reports summarizing assessment findings and recommendations.
- Deliver individual and group counseling sessions to students, addressing social-emotional and behavioral challenges.
- Participate in the development and implementation of Multi-Tiered Systems of Support (MTSS) and Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports (PBIS) frameworks.
- Support compliance with special education regulations, including attendance at Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and collaboration with special education teams.
- Engage families and caregivers in the assessment process, intervention planning, and ongoing support for student success.
- Collaborate with teachers, school administrators, and external agencies to advocate for the needs of students and promote best practices in mental health and wellness.
- Participate in crisis intervention and response efforts as needed to ensure student and school safety.

- Valid California Pupil Personnel Services (PPS) Credential in School Psychology required.
