School Psychologist (PPS, K-12) - Summary

Duties & Responsibilities
- Conduct academic, cognitive, and social-emotional assessments to identify student strengths and challenges
- Lead Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and contribute detailed, data-driven eligibility reports
- Provide individual and group counseling services to address students’ emotional and behavioral needs
- Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to develop and implement effective behavioral and academic interventions
- Assist in crisis response efforts, offering immediate support and planning for student safety and well-being
- Support behavioral planning and positive behavior intervention strategies throughout the school community
- Maintain accurate records, assessments, and documentation in compliance with district and state guidelines

Qualifications & Requirements
- Current and valid Pupil Personnel Services (PPS) Credential in School Psychology (required)
- Master’s or Specialist degree in School Psychology or related field
- Demonstrated knowledge of assessment tools and intervention strategies for K-12 students
- Excellent communication, organization, and teamwork skills
- Experience working with diverse student populations preferred
