School Psychologist (PPS) - Summary

Duties & Responsibilities
- Conduct psychoeducational assessments to evaluate students’ academic, behavioral, and emotional strengths and needs
- Interpret assessment results to inform educational planning and interventions
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized education program (IEP) goals in collaboration with special education teams
- Participate in the creation and review of behavior intervention plans to address student-specific challenges
- Provide individual and group counseling to support students’ social-emotional well-being
- Offer crisis intervention and support services as needed to maintain a safe and supportive school environment
- Serve as a resource for teachers, staff, and parents regarding best practices in student support and mental health
- Contribute expertise to Multi-Tiered System of Supports (MTSS) teams and district-wide wellness initiatives

Qualifications & Requirements
- Valid California Pupil Personnel Services (PPS) Credential in School Psychology
- Demonstrated knowledge of psychoeducational assessment tools and interpretation
