School Psychologist (NCSP) - Summary
- Provide psychological services to support student success in academic, social, and emotional domains

Duties & Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive psychological and educational evaluations to identify students' strengths and needs
- Participate in the development and implementation of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and behavior intervention plans
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams—including teachers, administrators, and families—to promote academic and social-emotional success
- Deliver individual and small group counseling services to address students' mental health and behavioral concerns
- Support crisis intervention efforts and provide recommendations for prevention and response strategies
- Assist in developing data-driven strategies to improve student outcomes and overall school climate
- Consult with educators and parents to interpret assessment results and recommend instructional or behavioral interventions
- Maintain accurate and confidential student records in accordance with legal and ethical guidelines
- Participate in school-wide initiatives to foster inclusive and supportive learning environments

Qualifications & Requirements
- Master's or Doctoral degree in School Psychology from an accredited program
- Current Pennsylvania School Psychologist certification or eligibility to obtain certification
- Demonstrated experience in administering educational and psychological assessments
- Knowledge of special education processes, including IEP development and implementation
- Strong counseling and consultation skills with students, families, and staff
- Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team
