School Psychologist (NCSP) - Summary

Duties & Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive psychological evaluations and assessments for K-12 students
- Participate in and contribute expertise during IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions
- Develop and implement evidence-based interventions to address academic, behavioral, and social-emotional needs
- Consult and collaborate with educators, administrators, and families to support student development
- Promote a positive and inclusive school climate through prevention and intervention services
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with federal, state, and local regulations
- Support crisis intervention and preventative mental health initiatives as needed
- Engage in ongoing professional development to remain current on best practices in school psychology

Qualifications & Requirements
- Master's or Doctoral degree in School Psychology from an accredited program
- Current and valid School Psychologist certification (NCSP or state equivalent)
- Demonstrated knowledge of psychological assessment tools and intervention strategies
- Experience with K-12 student populations preferred
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
