In this full-time School Psychologist role, you'll have the opportunity to make a meaningful difference by conducting comprehensive psychoeducational evaluations and re-evaluations. Working closely within multidisciplinary teams, you’ll participate in eligibility and Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings, offering valuable input that shapes educational planning and supports student achievement. You’ll also play a critical role in the response to intervention (RTI) and Multi-Tiered System of Supports (MTSS) processes, supporting the development and implementation of effective behavioral intervention plans.

Beyond assessment, the School Psychologist position involves extensive consultation and collaboration. You'll work in partnership with teachers, administrators, and families, providing expert guidance on how to best support students’ academic and emotional needs. Your involvement will help inform classroom strategies, behavioral supports, and interventions that are evidence-based and aligned with best practices in school psychology. Additionally, you will assist in crisis intervention efforts, offering crucial support to students experiencing mental health challenges and contributing to the overall safety and well-being of the school community.

Maintaining accurate and timely documentation is a core part of this role, ensuring compliance with state and district guidelines. You will be responsible for preparing comprehensive assessment reports, documenting consultation activities, and ensuring that all records meet professional and legal standards. This attention to detail is vital for effective communication among school teams and for maintaining a high standard of care for students and families.

The ideal candidate for this School Psychologist role will have a Master’s or Doctorate degree in School Psychology, as well as a valid Professional Educator License (PEL) with a School Psychologist endorsement or eligibility for such licensure. While prior school-based experience is preferred, new graduates who demonstrate strong assessment, communication, and collaboration skills are encouraged to apply.
